This jewel presents a slender opened rush, in the extremities flattened and decorated with grooves, the simplification of which gives rise to several interpretations(performances): they can evoke knotted(tied) ribbons, quite as former(ancient) hieroglyphic signs abundantly used in the form of amulets in the Pharaonic jewelry(jeweler's store); they also call back(remind) flowers corollas seen by profile, appearing from their sepals, in the style of the floral buttons arranged in sowing on the Coptic textiles(textile industries).
Two identical bracelets were found in the searches(excavations) of Médinet-Habou, the former(ancient) Coptic city of Djimé, situated in front of Luxor, on the left bank of the Nile; they are silver overlaid(inlayed) with cornaline (now in the museums of Cairo and Chicago).
